SCHOOL!

holy hanna! it is quite the adjustment. i have a couple of hard classes, but some are fun enough to make up for it. not to mention i get to see my lovely amigos everyday! yes, i'd still rather be swimming or hiking or eating ice cream, but school is....ok. some things are great, like friends, swim meets, football games, chapel committee, youth group, every day is one closer to spain, the works. ya know, life goes on. it's still good! (God is still Good! no surpises there, though!)

swimming is going pretty well. it looks like this season's going to be a good one for me, which is encouraging. we better beat the destable catholics...

i don't really feel like doing this, so...i'm out after a question or two.

SWIMMING!

hey-o!

i love to swim. i love the swim team. i love the sport. i love the captains. i love my lane. this season will be AMAZING!

and i don't have to work the weekend of pines point....which means, for those of you in my youth group, that i get to go rustic camping with y'all for the last weekend before school. amazing!

so many good things coming up.

so many good things have happened this past week. i had a couple bad nights this past week (thanks to friends who have no communication skills, but i love them anyways) , but overall a very relaxing time (no EGRA, no school swimming, you get the idea.). playing guitar for church, having the whole fam home in one room (crazy!), hanging out with super awesome people watching cheesy (or scary) movies, getting paid to sit in the sun and tell kids to walk and be with awseome co-workers (that's my job, pretty much) makes for some good times.

but throughout the good, the bad, and the o-k too....God is Good.

and another thing on everyone's mind...

are you excited for school?

i had better see most of you before then! let's hang out. swimming 10:30-12:30 on m-w-f, 10:00-12:30 on t-t. a couple days of work. other than that, i'm free!

colorado was AWESOME. the rocky mountains are amazing, hiking is fabulous, and time w/ the fam (mom, dad, jill - plus jill's sweet friends) was super fun! God's creation never ceases to amaze me!

my friends.....they are fanatastic. so many good times with them. (i miss so many of you, though....we'd best get together soon!)

another amazing thing is the song "Baila Casanova" by Paulina Rubio. when you hear that song, you will not be able to help but follow her commands and DANCE!

Happy 2 year xanga anniversary to me (on this xanga.) Whoop-dee-doo. Xanga actually kind of sucks, but oh well. I've been on xanga itself for 2.5 years (almost exactly). That other xanga is pretty old and outdated, though....I never use it!

So my birthday and party for it were both completely awesome. (Blaine! haha). So many good times with my friends.

Speaking of awesome, Pirates of the Carribean 2 is soooooo good!

Speaking of even MORE awesome, look where I'm going in 4 days for a week! (Thanks to jill for the pics!)

Yeah...that's right, I'm going to colorado. Snow mountain Ranch to be specific, a Ymca of the rockies. My dad is giving a lecture and my sister is working there, but most of the week will consist of hiking, kayaking, alpine slides, and other such wonderful things.

By the way, pioneer camp was AMAZING. I hadn't mentioned it on here yet....but it was one of the best weeks ever. I was part of a cabin of 12 amazing girls and 2 fantastic counselors. We backpacked on north manitou island (which is wilderness area), where we moved our campsite almost every night, ate lots of yummy (well....) food, and swam in lake michigan. It was a total blast to be with those people in God's creation the way it was intended to be.

I'm starting physical therapy tommorrow for my knees...nothing too intense, but they've been bad lately at swimming and such. So hopefully they'll be ok by high school swimming!

Anyways, I love summer! God is good.
